Met Gala 2013 Red Carpet: CELEBRITY INVASION

The Met Gala 2013 is one that one won’t forget easily, Glamour got an edgy twist at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute Gala in New York City on May 6, 2013. Hollywood’s biggest stars didn’t shy away at the chance to play dress-up, donning everything from dark lipstick to studded chokers. The red carpet was full of fashion forwards and also fashion woes, it was a night for those celebrities who had made mistakes in there recent appearance at the red carpet to make amends, celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow exchange the ‘sheer dress’ for a nicely look ‘Valentino couture’ this time around.

Some stars step out in style while others just can’t wait to make the same mistake again, overall my best dress was Beyonce while I think Kim K didnt do justice to that dress in anyway, Blake lively and katie holmes was also on fire, below are the pictures of the celebrities who rock the red carpet like it’s theirs while others just flop. have fun viewing and let me know which is your best or worst dress. Enjoy!

Beyonce in Givenchy

Beyonce dress is actually pretty and she rocks it well also but the matchy-matchy shoe is a No-No for me, what do you think?

Sarah Jessica Parker In a headpiece by Phillip Treacy and dress by Giles Deacon

I totally love her dress. The prints material actually blend with her skin.

Kim Kardashian in Riccardo Tisci

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

This dress just doesn’t do justice to that baby bump of hers and yes she’s also guilty of the “Matchy-matchy” shoes.

  1. Someone should please tell Kim K that she looks ugly in that dress and she also needs to accept Jesus ASAP in her life, hope she don’t lead that child of hers in the wrong path. others just look beautiful.

  2. I love the Jessica Parker, Anne Hathaway, the Olsen twins and Pharrel look but what was Nicki Minaj, Kate Holmes, Psy and Chelsea Clinton thinking? don’t like their dress in anyway.

  3. I don’t care about what the fashion police have to say cos Beyoncé is ever beautiful and I love her dress and what the heck was Nicki Minaj wearing? she looks very weird, if you didn’t tag her name I wouldn’t have know that it was her.

  4. You have some picture on here that I didn’t see anywhere else. Awesome. NOBODY could do justice for that dress of Kim K’s. Justice would be that it stayed on the rack. As for the rest of them, several were great..but I thought Jennifer Lopez was outstanding.

  5. Beyonce dress fits her so perfectly, she looks like a queen that she is.

Katie Holmes, great dress, must have been a great entrance, but… forgive me, the side boob was the worst.

The pic of Uma Thurman. She looks old. I wonder if it’s just the color of the dress. Like the old olive green appliances.

    Heidi Klum, gorgeous as always.

    And hooray for Vanessa Redgrave!

Very cute pic with Jennifer Lawrence and SJP at the end 🙂
