I had a very intense argument with a classmate yesterday, who seems to believe that Love isn’t worth suffering for. In her opinion, she seems to believe that love can/should only bring in joy, happiness, peace of mind and every good things of life one can think of (which, I don’t dispute either but am sure we all agree it isn’t always so, right?.). I tried changing her perception on what Love should be, but I failed terribly.
Telling her loving someone means sticking with them through their ups and down together as one entity seems like I was wishing her a life of misery and bad-luck, but fortunately for me it seems the earth was listening to us as an email sent to my phone contains this beautiful short-film played by some Nigerian actors and I had to quickly show her and I bet you all are guessing what her reaction is, right? LOL 🙂
I would’ve like to share her thought on this short-film with you all here but I won’t do so now until after you all share your beautiful experiences and thoughts on this short film with me, so sit back relax and enjoy.
Title : BRAVE
SHORT SYNOPSIS :
BRAVE is an inspirational short film inspired (but not based) by a true story on page 88 of T.D Jakes ‘The Lady, Her Lover & Her Lord’. It is a heartfelt story based on the lives of a young couple, Nathan (Wole Ojo) and Layo (Adesua Etomi) who seem to have happiness, love and comfort. Though married for two years, Layo is beginning to worry about her failure in getting pregnant. When eventually she does get pregnant, she hides the news from Nathan, preparing to break the good news on their anniversary dinner outing in two days. Unfortunately, that night will mark the beginning of a nightmare both may not wake from, and suddenly, love is not enough.
